China – Day 1

We started the morning with the hotel breakfast …was a great feast with a choice of asian European and western style food or a combination of all…even the coffee wasn’t too bad. On the bus to Tienemen square (the words stand for heaven + peace + gate) and the Forbidden City which sits behind the Tienemen gate and was forbidden for the commoners to enter it. Only the Emperor and Elite scholars. Our guide was very informative and gave us a lot of interesting history.

On to a silk factory…couldn’t resist a nice silk quilt and cover.
