Christmas Island National Park
Our first day trip to the Christmas Island National Park today, Faiza took me down to see the blow holes.
On the way there we were lucky enough to see a medium to small size robber crab, many many red crabs, some blue crabs, various birds and an abundance of flowers … the raw beauty of the flora and fauna was amazing.

Faiza has worked on Christmas Island a number of times and she had always enjoyed it … we had hoped to get some contract work there for a few months leading up to Christmas 2013 but for various reasons that did not eventuate …
Faiza had the opportunity to work there again for a couple of weeks at the end of April … so with nothing to lose I asked work for some leave and … they said yes …
