Getting an Eiffel of Paris

Started out with picnic breakfast under Eiffel Tower.

Walked around city. Ended with climbing to the summit of the Eiffel Tower.

Then a Romanian dinner.

Our Last Night In The UK … Innit …

Went for brisk walk this morning before we started our day. A visit to the Dalby Forest for some bush walking amongst the dales, lakes and moors took up most of our day…

The North York Moors/ National Park has some truly stunning scenery.

On the way back to York we stopped at a little market town. Sitting within the North Yorkshire Moors sits a boutique village town called Thornton le Dale with lots of brooks running under homes and streets. We stopped there to have some English tea…

Dinner tonite ?? We are having a very good Indian food (insert Indian head wobble here)…

We started off the day by picking up our hire car to make our way to Whitby via the Yorkshire Moors. We Spent most of the day in Whitby itself exploring what it has to offer. Whitby is a small coastal fishing village, very picturesque. We visited the old Abby. As a treat for Steve’s birthday I thought I’d give him something he hadn’t experienced before … So I pushed him down the Abbey well and buried him at the Abbey as he really loved this place

Next stop …Robin Hood’s Bay for a little drink. An even smaller coastal village that is so adorable. It reminds me of the small villages of the Greek Isles with their narrow cobblestone passages and steep lanes with houses and boutique shops scattered along the cobblestone lanes.
