Another lovely breakfast at Bawn Lodge before road tripping up towards Cumbria / The Lakes Region … we got to Windemere in about two hours and found a cafe by the lake where we stopped for tea.
With our thirst quenched we then headed off to Liverpool on the river Mersey, we found “The Cavern” one of the first places that the Beatles played in Matthew street. a street dedicated to the Beatles. We then wandered down to the Liverpool museum before heading back for our last night in Chester.
