We set off to the beautiful town of Akaroa and walked around its streets

Undecided where to head off next we made the long drive to Timaru….as per our original itinerary but once we got there…we decided we didnt want to stay so drove off to Lake Tekapo…enjoying the beautiful countryside along the way

No accommodation in town but one last , very budget, room…we had no choice
We booked an observatory / planetarium activiy to view the magnificent night sky from Mt John but alas it got cancelled due to windy weather. .so disappointing….
I think they have an abundance of wild rabbits here!
