With a plan for the next few days in place and after breakfast, we started to make our way to Te Anau..The drive from Invercargill to Te Anau was uneventful and at times wet..Some of the scenary was nice with rolling green hills and of course lots and lots of sheep
Te Anau is a small tourist town as it is the gateway to Fiordlands. .its got a nice lake and lots of water and aerial activities…but due to the bad weather we decided to not participate in any..
We braved the wet weather to visit the bird santuary but found most of the birds have flown away..
Then on to Manapoura Lake..
