An enjoyable day where we visited the Antarctic Centre
Feeding the penguins
and Christchurch Gondola.
On way back we visited the beachside towns of New Brighton and Lyttleton. Both towns were also badly affected by the 2011 earthquake.
Later….A drink and live entertainment at the Astro Bar…Steve was in his element! A bar decorated with space and alien memorabilia. ..and the guitarist playing all the right songs
Arrived in Christchurch. ..cold and wendy bro..aye!!
Lucky wi came pripared cuz…
Walked in the gardens…walked the streets of Christchurch where there’s still quite a bit of rubble and lots of restoration still happening from the earthquake. ..
Had a bit of a flutter at the casino where we were shouted drinks by the croupier supervisor…..won..and lost..but was fun
Still very cold and windy..so back to hotel for an early nite. .
