We had a fun filled edutainment trip to the Mari Mari Cultural Village this afternoon, it was a great place to visit to ‘experience’ Borneo’s traditional way of living, how the tribes used to live, hunting with blowpipe, fire making and traditional bamboo cooking. Out of 100s of Borneo tribes, we experienced and learnt about 5.

There were many types of foods and drinks to try, rice wine, coffee, traditional cigarettes and sweets and many more.

We were so happy we chose this experience. Just make sure you bring a rain coat if you’re going to give it a try … damn near flooded at the end.
