Perfect day for a train trip into Venice. The weather was fantastic so we hopped on a train from Treviso Central to Venezia S Lucia station.
The first thing we wanted to do was to experience a gondola ride through the Venetian canals..so that’s what we did. Luca, our Gondalier was great, he whistled tunes for us as he claimed he couldn’t sing.

We spent the rest of the day walking through the alleys of Venice…getting lost…eating…drinking..getting lost…before we made our way to the station to return home.

We finished off the day having dinner with Stevens friend from Treviso who also showed us a bit of the town at night. The place was certainly buzzing with people and music everywhere . Ahh Treviso..the home of Prosceco and birthplace of the Tiramisu.
